Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Boris Elg went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Ocean´s Eleven getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Mads Fenger hit a great ball. Venezuela were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Ocean´s Eleven's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomas Illescas took the corner. The Ocean´s Eleven fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Ocean´s Eleven's Kaarel Astradsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boris Elg scored 3-1 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jonathan Ferrant, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes Ocean´s Eleven got a freekick which was hit by Sigvard Algren. Sven-Olof Örtendal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match Ocean´s Eleven got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaarel Astradsson ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 47 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gaos. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The wind increased when Tomas Illescas made the kick off in the second half. Boris Elg received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Hermansson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dennis Hermansson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Hermansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaarel Astradsson in the 62nd minute of play. Kaarel Astradsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ocean´s Eleven made a substitution. Leon Black replaced Boris Elg. Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaarel Astradsson's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the game, Ocean´s Eleven's Kaarel Astradsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Sven-Olof Örtendal was a little too slow when Patricio Costa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 77th minute. The score was now 4-2. Joar Björklund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
