Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristo Elivareo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Efrain Blai in the 10th minute of play. Cristo Elivareo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agustín Saelices, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hernan Socorro came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Julio Vera could save by the left post. After 25 played minutes Barrialito AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julian Torres. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Cristo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristo Elivareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristo Elivareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute, Julian Torres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Barrialito AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Cristo Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hernan Socorro was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Daniel Zorita reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cristo Elivareo. The goal made the score 0-3. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Cristo Elivareo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Cristo Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 63 minutes into the game, Jacinto Raitin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barrialito AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Jacinto Raitin hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernan Socorro in the 67th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th match minute, Ecuador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Zorita to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Barrialito AFC's zone, Cristian Sancho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Elivareo came out of the goal and Cristian Sancho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Barrialito AFC's Lucas Brais got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernan Socorro in the 85th minute of play. The supporters of Barrialito AFC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Luis Andino. In the 89th minute of the match Adrian Osoitz sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julio Vera skillfully saved the ball. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hernan Socorro's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Celio, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Barrialito AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
