Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2ndth minute of the game Cristo Martino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Costa Rica's Benito Sanz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The Karavostásis BC fans' excitement grew in the 3rd match minute when Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Benito Sanz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Lynkeus Galitsis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 6 minute of play. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Abel Carballo hit a great ball. After 15 minutes, Cristo Martino made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Eteokles Mitsinikos sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristo Martino got free with Benito Sanz in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute Cristo Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alan Moruga charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alan Moruga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alan Moruga kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The Karavostásis BC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Selçuk Eldem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Tasis's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristo Martino in the 38th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Cristo Martino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Cristo Martino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ikarios Kouropoulos in the 42nd minute of the match. Eteokles Mitsinikos struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karavostásis BC. After 45 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Efrain Moruga. The audience was convinced that Cristo Martino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benito Sanz was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 51st minute, Lynkeus Galitsis left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Karavostásis BC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 7-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Cristo Martino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 59th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aaron Alcocer to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Ikarios Kouropoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lynkeus Galitsis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eteokles Mitsinikos in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benito Sanz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristo Martino in the 72nd minute of play. After having played for 74 minutes, Lynkeus Galitsis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Karavostásis BC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lynkeus Galitsis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristo Martino in the 76th minute of play. When Ikarios Kouropoulos came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Karavostásis BC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ikarios Kouropoulos couldn't finish the play. 83 minutes into the match, Cristo Martino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristo Martino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino. But to his dismay, Cristo Martino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ikarios Kouropoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 92 minutes of play, Karavostásis BC's Cristo Martino made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Karavostásis BC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
