Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Evelio Nevada, made in the 76th minute of the game. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aníbal Berger saved Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo from getting behind. Peru's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luz Tejedor in the 78th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's goalie and right to Alonso Berganza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antonio Tenorio got free with Aníbal Berger in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Evelio Nevada made in the 90th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Carlos García however managed to control. 91 minutes into the match, Rafael Gallo notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Sportivo Loren-Delfrajo's Aníbal Berger. Aníbal Berger was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
