Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emil Zaremba took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcos Cotilla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Pernambucano, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. In the 7th minute Rubens Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezequiel Duarte to maneuver through the defense. Abraham Alguacil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erivaldo Furlan having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Berganza in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erivaldo Furlan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Wilian de Senna hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Miguel Miralles hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Erivaldo Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isidoro Sarmiento in the 26th minute of the match. Panama's Tomas Berganza got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emil Zaremba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the game, Eurico Cordeiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tamboril's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Panama the free kick. After a rather tough play, Tamboril's Eurico Cordeiro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 34th minute, Abraham Alguacil made a precise shot to the right of Erivaldo Furlan. Tamboril's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Abraham Alguacil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Furlan having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Cacá Matorin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tamboril's Erivaldo Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 40th minute of play. Cacá Matorin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. Marcos Cotilla made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Cacá Matorin sent off a good shot on target.

The wind increased when Tomas Berganza made the kick off in the second half. Erivaldo Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Berganza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th match minute, Tamboril was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Tamboril's zone, Abraham Alguacil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Erivaldo Furlan came out of the goal and Abraham Alguacil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Panama's Isidoro Sarmiento got a free kick in the 58th minute. Aaron Barrios hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Tamboril's goalie and right to Alex Cambeiro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Tamboril's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Tomas Berganza struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Erivaldo Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Panama. A collision led to Tamboril getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Luan Tasso hit a great ball. In the 70th minute, Abraham Alguacil sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Tamboril's Erivaldo Furlan didn't even have to move. When Tomas Berganza came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Panama fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Berganza couldn't finish the play. After 76 minutes, Narciso Pernambucano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tamboril and the Panama players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcos Cotilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Torres in the 97th minute of play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
