The audience was convinced that Julian Murillo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cheng Hao Wei was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Aniol Peña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, JEMBer UTara's goal looked a bit too open when Julian Murillo came free, but Cheng Hao Wei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 22 played minutes JEMBer UTara got a freekick which was hit by İlyas Seçkiner. JEMBer UTara's Rolly Salisbury got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. JEMBer UTara's Cheng Hao Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 35th minute of play. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aniol Peña in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aniol Peña in the 43rd minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rafet Nesip made a kick off. JEMBer UTara's Cheng Hao Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save JEMBer UTara from getting a goal against them. After 56 minutes JEMBer UTara's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. 69 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Rafet Nesip came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 72nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cheng Hao Wei saved JEMBer UTara from getting behind. Julian Murillo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Cheng Hao Wei made a huge save. In the 80th match minute, JEMBer UTara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sun Yi Yu to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cheng Hao Wei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Sun Yi Yu hit a great ball. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. In the 87th minute of the match, Rafael Gallo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Cheng Hao Wei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 87th minute, Sun Yi Yu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheng Hao Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Gallo in the 91st minute. A collision led to Peru getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Emmanuel Reyes hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Rafet Nesip cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rolando Noboa was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Rolly Salisbury fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored JEMBer UTara's protests and gave Rolly Salisbury a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to JEMBer UTara getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Rolly Salisbury hit a great ball. The Peru players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented JEMBer UTara from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
