The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ made a substitution. Anselmo Valiente replaced Jacobo Garin. The wind increased when Mariano Lacasa made the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Ireno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Indiano in the 53rd minute. In the 54th minute of the match Chile got a corner. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Chile's Mariano Lacasa to fire away a dangerous shot which Benedicto Ireno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 59th minute Yin Wei Yi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Benedicto Ireno took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Jeremias Felo with Cecilio Eli as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Mariano Lacasa took a quick shot and it went in 4-2 without a chance for Benedicto Ireno to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Jeremias Felo hit a great ball. Mariano Lacasa's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute, Benedicto Ireno skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some careless play in the C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ defense, Mariano Lacasa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedicto Ireno. The C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedicto Ireno should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.A.Ituzaingo Ψ had won after a very even match.
