A very good chance for a goal. 12 minutes into the match, Los Mega's goal looked a bit too open when Eddy Laporte came free, but Federico Jaizki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teo De Jonge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Totti in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, KFC Vliegplein was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul-Louis Jannes to maneuver through the defense. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Totti, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Arne Melberg in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Teo De Jonge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Teo De Jonge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francesco Totti, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eddy Laporte in the 44th minute of play forced Los Mega's goalkeeper Federico Jaizki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the game, Rudi Vissenaeckens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Francesco Totti made a kick off. With a little luck, KFC Vliegplein's Teo De Jonge got control of the ball when Francesco Totti tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stig-Arne Melberg got free with Teo De Jonge in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The Los Mega fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Federico Jaizki should have stopped the shot. Francesco Totti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teo De Jonge having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hieronim Siwy got free with Teo De Jonge in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute Francesco Totti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teo De Jonge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 90 minutes, Francesco Totti managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Mega's supporters crossed their fingers, but Francesco Totti was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Despite being the better team, Los Mega failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
