With an extended leg and a bit of luck Robert Vassenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Omar Volio came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi. But to his dismay, Alfonso Bikendi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Porras in the 14th minute of play. When Alfonso Bikendi came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the RB Chubut fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Bikendi couldn't finish the play. In the 24th minute, RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Felipe Porras kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 35th minute, Felipe Porras made a precise shot to the right of Robert Vassenius. RB Chubut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 38 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Justino Heli. RB Chubut's Ezequiel Rutenio quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Batuhan Eryilmaz, made in the 40th minute of the game. Lucas Gamboa scored 2-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Alfonso Bikendi came free, but Omar Volio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius got control of the ball when Lucas Gamboa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Porras in the 57th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Elias Carballo notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius. Robert Vassenius was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felipe Porras scored 2-4 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Robert Vassenius, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. CS La Libertad made a substitution. Jason Carrillo replaced Felipe Porras. Lyubcho Mangalski hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, CS La Libertad's Lucas Gamboa got a free kick in the 74th minute. Andrézinho Pelé's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Omar Volio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. After 78 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Txordon. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jason Carrillo in the 81st minute of play. In the 83rd minute Elias Carballo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. RB Chubut's defense didn't have a chance, in the 88th minute, when Elias Carballo scored to the left of an out of position Robert Vassenius, making the score, 2-5. Omar Volio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrézinho Pelé in the 91st minute of the match. Elias Carballo hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Robert Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Marco Ureña sent off a good shot on target. With 97 minutes on the clock, Luisito Txordon commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 98 played minutes RB Chubut got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Txordon. The RB Chubut fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CS La Libertad were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
