Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Séverin Dent started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, STAL ST WOLA's Stanislaw Domin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 4th minute Joan Carrasco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Matai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Maxwell Eddy had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Matai. STAL ST WOLA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maxwell Eddy was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Michel Batistuta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Omar Duardo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Michel Batistuta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Duardo having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Abraão in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roman Matai prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 16th minute Vancouver Reds were awarded a corner. Joan Carrasco went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Maxwell Eddy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roman Matai was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. 25 minutes into the match, STAL ST WOLA's goal looked a bit too open when Séverin Dent came free, but Roman Matai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Séverin Dent in the 26th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Ferdinand Boucher managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vancouver Reds's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Boucher was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Roman Matai breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Duardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artaç Hendekli in the 30th minute. Roman Matai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Séverin Dent in the 31st minute of play. If Tomás Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Michel Batistuta's late challenge caught a Vancouver Reds's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michel Batistuta helped the player get up and apologised. Michel Batistuta kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Tomás Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roman Matai showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Séverin Dent, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Michel Batistuta's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Omar Duardo firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Bielejewski in the 43rd minute of play forced Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper Omar Duardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Vancouver Reds's goal looked a bit too open when Michel Batistuta came free, but Omar Duardo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Vancouver Reds fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 48th minute. Penalty! The goalkeeper, Omar Duardo, was totally fooled by STAL ST WOLA's Michel Batistuta, who 48 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Michel Batistuta to make the kick off. Roman Matai made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Maxwell Eddy sent off a good shot on target. Roman Matai stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ferdinand Boucher's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Ferdinand Boucher struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Roman Matai didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vancouver Reds. Ferdinand Boucher recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Gustaw Bendyk managed to get in a good position for a shot. STAL ST WOLA's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaw Bendyk was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Duardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pang Jun hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Omar Duardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artaç Hendekli's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. In the 82ndth minute of the game Artaç Hendekli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vancouver Reds's Omar Duardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roman Matai took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Boucher, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Omar Duardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michel Batistuta in the 89th minute of play. Çağlar Soyuncu hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. STAL ST WOLA made a substitution. Mikolaj Lech replaced Zygmunt Bielejewski. In the 94th match minute, STAL ST WOLA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Çağlar Soyuncu to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Vancouver Reds's Joan Carrasco tried to score from far away in the 95th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Ferdinand Boucher kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. STAL ST WOLA's Roman Matai proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 98th minute of the match, managed to save STAL ST WOLA from getting a goal against them. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
