The Gonzo Style f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arrigo Capone should have stopped the shot. If Rogelio Luco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rogelio Luco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 12th minute Rogelio Luco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Capone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Luco might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arrigo Capone. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Luco ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 15th minute, Rogelio Luco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Altermundi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rogelio Luco in the 23rd minute of play. If Sem Barang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arrigo Capone came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco. But to his dismay, Rogelio Luco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Luco in the 36th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arrigo Capone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Luco in the 37th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Xacobo Valdovinos got a free kick in the 39th minute. Arrigo Capone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Luco, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. After some careless play in the Gonzo Style f.c defense, Rogelio Luco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arrigo Capone. The Gonzo Style f.c fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arrigo Capone should have stopped the shot. After the first half Altermundi FC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sem Barang was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Bruno Antico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone got control of the ball when Rogelio Luco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Luco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arrigo Capone read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. Gonzo Style f.c's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sem Barang ran over to the corner to take the kick. Sem Barang made a great header on Altermundi FC's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 57th minute Altermundi FC were awarded a corner. Sem Barang went to the cornerflag to take it. 59 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Capone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the game, Davide Zisser was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Altermundi FC the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Rogelio Luco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altermundi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Luco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arrigo Capone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 68th minute, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arrigo Capone. Arrigo Capone yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Arrigo Capone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rogelio Luco went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-8 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute, Rogelio Luco made a precise shot to the right of Arrigo Capone. Gonzo Style f.c's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-9. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rogelio Luco got free with Arrigo Capone in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arrigo Capone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rogelio Luco in the 87th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arrigo Capone narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Antico didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogelio Luco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Altermundi FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
