Robert Vassenius made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Felipe Porras sent off a good shot on target. 4 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Carballo came free, but Robert Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute, Alfonso Bikendi made a precise shot to the right of Omar Volio. CS La Libertad's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. CS La Libertad's Omar Volio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfonso Bikendi in the 15th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Bikendi in the 18th minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batuhan Eryilmaz kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Robert Vassenius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Carballo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. RB Chubut's Robert Vassenius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Porras in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Alfonso Bikendi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Omar Volio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 39 played minutes CS La Libertad got a freekick which was hit by Batuhan Eryilmaz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso Bikendi in the 43rd minute of play forced CS La Libertad's goalkeeper Omar Volio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Porras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Robert Vassenius made a huge save. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

RB Chubut's Lázaro Quico was substituted for Adrian Cristos. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Felipe Porras stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, RB Chubut's Alfonso Bikendi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Omar Volio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. In the 62nd minute Felipe Porras shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Vassenius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgar Bermudez's late challenge caught a RB Chubut's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Edgar Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 64th minute, Edgar Bermudez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, CS La Libertad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Bermudez to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andrézinho Pelé in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Volio saved CS La Libertad from getting behind. Omar Volio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Andrézinho Pelé in the 67th minute. RB Chubut's Andrézinho Pelé got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 74 minutes into the match, CS La Libertad's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Pelé came free, but Omar Volio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, RB Chubut's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Ureña came free, but Robert Vassenius reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Vassenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Porras, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Robert Vassenius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bermudez in the 88th minute of play. Robert Vassenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Porras in the 90th minute of the match. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Omar Volio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Andrézinho Pelé's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Omar Volio was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The RB Chubut players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
