The throw-in from Aureliano Frasquito in the 43rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Altermundi FC's Rómulo Jaramillo. 45 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Porras. Felipe Porras could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Ysmael Alemparte made a huge save. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sem Barang to make the kick off. With a little luck, CS La Libertad's Omar Volio got control of the ball when Rogelio Luco tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 52nd minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. CS La Libertad's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dante Baros ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 69th minute, Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Omar Volio. Omar Volio yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. When Rogelio Luco came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Altermundi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rogelio Luco couldn't finish the play. In the 74th minute Sem Barang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Volio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Porras took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Alemparte. Ysmael Alemparte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. Omar Volio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sem Barang, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. In the 83rdth minute of the game Sem Barang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CS La Libertad's Omar Volio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 87 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elias Carballo came free, but Ysmael Alemparte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute CS La Libertad were awarded a corner. Luis Marin went to the cornerflag to take it. Luis Marin made a great header on CS La Libertad's corner, it was just that Altermundi FC's Ysmael Alemparte managed to reach the ball for a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Carballo in the 92nd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
