The audience was convinced that Desislav Sergeev's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. From close distance Desislav Sergeev pressed in the 1-0 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 11 minutes into the game. Francisco Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joaquin Gayoso was a little too slow when Desislav Sergeev got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 20th minute. The score was now 2-0. When Kevin Carballal fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uruguay's protests and gave Kevin Carballal a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 23rd minute of the game. One of Uruguay:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of HALO HANGZHOU:s goal. The goalkeeper, Joaquin Gayoso, was totally fooled by HALO HANGZHOU's Desislav Sergeev, who 24 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desislav Sergeev in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Qian Rong hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Du Jie Ran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, HALO HANGZHOU's Desislav Sergeev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. The HALO HANGZHOU fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when HALO HANGZHOU's Desislav Sergeev looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Francisco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Jie Ran having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Desislav Sergeev in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. 57 minutes into the match, Desislav Sergeev notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. HALO HANGZHOU made a substitution. Bo-Erik McNamara replaced Desislav Sergeev. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bo-Erik McNamara, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Du Jie Ran was a little too slow when Francisco Seco got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 6-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qian Lin Yu in the 68th minute of play forced Uruguay's goalkeeper Joaquin Gayoso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bo-Erik McNamara's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Du Jie Ran in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Qian Lin Yu scored 8-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo-Erik McNamara in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joaquin Gayoso saved Uruguay from getting behind. Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bo-Erik McNamara in the 90th minute of play. Du Jie Ran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisco Seco in the 93rd minute. HALO HANGZHOU's Du Jie Ran proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save HALO HANGZHOU from getting a goal against them. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. HALO HANGZHOU were victorious despite being under pressure from Uruguay for much of the match.
