Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Anton Bengtsson started the match with the kick off. Bruno Beldad kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 11th minute of the match Carlos Augusto Novaes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Francisco Seco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gu Zhan Wei. Academia Santista CIMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisco Seco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Joaquin Gayoso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Bengtsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Márcio Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francisco Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, Anton Bengtsson recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Joaquin Gayoso. Anton Bengtsson showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Maximiliano Escribano struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Gu Zhan Wei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Uruguay. After a rather tough play, Uruguay's Maximiliano Escribano got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 39th play minute Anton Bengtsson came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Joaquin Gayoso. 2-1. A collision led to Uruguay getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Francisco Seco hit a great ball. Anton Bengtsson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 52nd minute Márcio Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Gayoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Santista CIMZ's Gu Zhan Wei proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Santista CIMZ from getting a goal against them. Gu Zhan Wei didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 55th minute, which inside left pole to 2-2. Gu Zhan Wei made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Maximiliano Escribano sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximiliano Escribano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Gu Zhan Wei made a huge save. Joaquin Gayoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anton Bengtsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 88th minute Anísio Capixaba suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Maximiliano Escribano charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maximiliano Escribano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Academia Santista CIMZ made a substitution. Jorginho de Lima replaced Anísio Capixaba. In the 90th match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Escribano to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Armando Barreto in the 92nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo. Uruguay's Arturo Carvallo managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Armando Barreto in the 93 minute of the game. Faustão Mineiro's late challenge caught a Uruguay's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faustão Mineiro helped the player get up and apologised. Uruguay made a substitution. Lucho Andrade replaced Arturo Carvallo. Despite being the better team, Uruguay failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
