Alexander Van Houdtvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Willian Pay, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Willian Pay might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alexander Van Houdtvinck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Willian Pay ran back to his position shaking his head. Quebracho FC's Alexander Van Houdtvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willian Pay in the 17th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alessio Borrelli got free with Honorato Aznaro in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Habsburgo's Honorato Aznaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Flores in the 20th minute of play. Honorato Aznaro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessio Borrelli in the 25th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match Habsburgo got a corner. Quebracho FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Domenico Di Nino ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Habsburgo's Exequiel Viera getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 36th minute, Willian Pay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Habsburgo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Alexander Van Houdtvinck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Willian Pay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 43 minutes into the match, Habsburgo's Willian Pay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alexander Van Houdtvinck narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 45 minutes, Emanuel Hârșu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Habsburgo and the Quebracho FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Flores in the 47th minute of play forced Habsburgo's goalkeeper Honorato Aznaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Habsburgo's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 97th minute of the game, when Domenico Di Nino after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Quebracho FC's goal. Domenico Di Nino was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Quebracho FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
