Du Jie Ran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th match minute, HALO HANGZHOU was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Peng Kang Xing to maneuver through the defense. In the 10th minute Tomas Berganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Du Jie Ran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 12 played minutes, HALO HANGZHOU's Wang Chen Hong shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcos Cotilla came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in HALO HANGZHOU reached it. Panama's Marcos Cotilla proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Panama from getting a goal against them. HALO HANGZHOU's Du Jie Ran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Berganza in the 18th minute of play. Du Jie Ran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Berganza, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 24 minutes into the match, HALO HANGZHOU's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Berganza came free, but Du Jie Ran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute, Lin Yu Hai reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcos Cotilla. The goal made the score 2-3. Isidoro Sarmiento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Du Jie Ran having to interfere. Marcos Cotilla was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Qian Lin Yu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-3 in the 43 minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 3-3 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Berganza to strike the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 51 minutes, Du Jie Ran successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Du Jie Ran stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tomas Berganza's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. The supporters of Panama booed when HALO HANGZHOU was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Qian Lin Yu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Panama were furious when Felipe Ros was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 62nd minute, one of Panama:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Panama. Marcos Cotilla had in the 64thth minute some difficulties stopping Wang Chen Hong's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 65th minute, Wang Chen Hong ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-3. A collision led to Panama getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Dylan Sarmiento hit a great ball. In the 71st minute, Wang Chen Hong sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Panama's Marcos Cotilla didn't even have to move. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Barrios during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of HALO HANGZHOU booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aaron Barrios didn't get a good kick on the ball. Qian Lin Yu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Cotilla having to interfere. Bo-Erik McNamara took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcos Cotilla. Marcos Cotilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-3. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Lin Yu Hai put it in 6-3 from a short distance just to the right of Marcos Cotilla. Lin Yu Hai hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. When HALO HANGZHOU's Wu Liang Xu in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Panama's goalie prevented a goal. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for HALO HANGZHOU.
