No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armand Steenberghs couldn't finish the play. 69 minutes into the match, ≮王者归来≯匪匪占山为王's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Nilmar de Castro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Miliano in the 71st minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, 楚光响 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
