A beautiful save bye CRUZ DEL SUR's goalie prevented a goal. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 11th minute. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arturo Vidal hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. If Pan Lin Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Fabio Zorondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Gaona stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Lautaro Mancebo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Zachariasz Dudkowski firmly grabbed it by the left post. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 56th minute. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 61 minutes in the game Felix Luque did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Lautaro Mancebo. Leonardo Leoz kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Zorondo in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th minute CRUZ DEL SUR were awarded a corner. Ronnie Odell went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Ronnie Odell almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa did a great save. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pan Lin Zhen in the 69th minute of play. In the 69thth minute of the game Pan Lin Zhen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mexico's Dante Lacasa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Zachariasz Dudkowski threw himself towards the right post 71 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Zachariasz Dudkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 73 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Zachariasz Dudkowski. Pan Lin Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pan Lin Zhen in the 79th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zachariasz Dudkowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Gaona's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artaç Yavuzalp charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artaç Yavuzalp the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Mexico booed when CRUZ DEL SUR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artaç Yavuzalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mexico were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing CRUZ DEL SUR to leave the ground with a draw.
