The audience thought a goal was coming when Pedro Domingues got free with Marco Day in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cassius Byrne went to the cornerflag to take it. Marco Day showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Domingues in the 38th minute of the match. Albeiro Usuriaga succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. After 42 minutes, Telmo Nogueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isótopos V.M. and the USA players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Telmo Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Isótopos V.M.'s Marco Day threw himself towards the right post 46 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Albeiro Usuriaga, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pedro Domingues to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Gualterio Mede managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isótopos V.M.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gualterio Mede was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ignacio Di Stasi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ignacio Di Stasi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sam Campbell in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind USA's goalkeeper Marco Day, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Isótopos V.M. players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
