ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aníbal Alagoano in the 24th minute of play. David Seaman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jetmir Ruvina, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucio Claus got free with David Seaman in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes Jenipapo SC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lucio Claus who took care of the corner kick. Dylan Browne tried in the game's 35th match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy David Seaman. An annoying self made goal, 1-0. Cătălin Gârniceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raphael Cunha in the 38th minute of the match. In the 45thth minute of the game Aníbal Alagoano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ÇETA FK's Cătălin Gârniceanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 47th minute of the match Jenipapo SC got a corner. ÇETA FK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Arsenio Gipuzkoa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Maurício Arósio heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely.

After a defensive mix-up in ÇETA FK's zone, Raphael Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cătălin Gârniceanu came out of the goal and Raphael Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 55th match minute, ÇETA FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sahit Bajrami to maneuver through the defense. If Aníbal Alagoano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 58th minute, Aníbal Alagoano reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Cătălin Gârniceanu. The goal made the score 1-1. After a rather tough play, ÇETA FK's Zamir Osja got a free kick in the 63rd minute.
