After taking down the ball on Club Atlético Atlanta's corner Marcos Berdoi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Victor Linares quite easily take care of the ball. Walter Ahlroht hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Pedro Rojelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Banas in the 26th minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Carlos Germano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Banas in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Carlos Germano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Walter Ahlroht was shown his second yellow card after 45 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 46th minute, Walter Ahlroht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Hermengildo Erroman kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atlético Atlanta's zone, Conny Lundberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carlos Germano came out of the goal and Conny Lundberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 60th minute, Leon Banas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Atlanta's Marcos Berdoi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victor Linares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leon Banas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victor Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pedro Rojelio in the 76th minute of the match. Neuros och Psykos were furious when Harald Ingemarsson was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. After 87 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Hermengildo Erroman. Neuros och Psykos's Conny Lundberg got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Conny Lundberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
