Baltasar Artaldo started the match with the kick off. Baltasar Artaldo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without William Sjöman having to make a save. 3 minutes into the match, ViHörs's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Artaldo came free, but William Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baraja Española FC's Conrado Xabat got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baltasar Artaldo in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg William Sjöman saved ViHörs from getting behind. After some careless play in the ViHörs defense, Baltasar Artaldo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of William Sjöman. The ViHörs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Sjöman should have stopped the shot. In the 13th minute Baltasar Artaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, ViHörs's goal looked a bit too open when Baltasar Artaldo came free, but William Sjöman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15thth minute of the game Ramón Reyes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Baraja Española FC's Eustaquio Javiar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 16 minutes in the game, Baltasar Artaldo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without William Sjöman having to interfere. Arjen Robben kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Ove Axelsson in the 22nd minute of play forced Baraja Española FC's goalkeeper Eustaquio Javiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. William Sjöman was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Baltasar Artaldo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 34 minute of play. The ViHörs fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that William Sjöman should have stopped the shot. ViHörs's William Sjöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltasar Artaldo in the 45th minute of play. After 45 minutes of play, Baraja Española FC's Baltasar Artaldo made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Sjöman was left in no man's land by his defense there! Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ramón Reyes was the one to do the kick off. William Sjöman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from László Illés, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Baraja Española FC booed when ViHörs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Eklund didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 59th minute, Conrado Xabat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Baltasar Artaldo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. William Sjöman was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Baltasar Artaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Sjöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Baltasar Artaldo ran back to his position shaking his head.
