In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind ViHörs's goalkeeper William Sjöman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. William Sjöman was a little too slow when Mete Gol got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Madison's Mete Gol got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elliot Hedström's late challenge caught a Madison's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elliot Hedström helped the player get up and apologised. In the 23rd minute, Elliot Hedström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind ViHörs's goalkeeper William Sjöman, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The throw-in from Vilhelm Bengtsson in the 27th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Madison's Ege Træet. William Sjöman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mete Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. William Sjöman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Mete Gol dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of William Sjöman, 2-0. After 40 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ViHörs! A collision led to ViHörs getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Ramón Reyes hit a great ball. 46 minutes into the match, Madison's Mete Gol broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mete Gol was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to ViHörs getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Ramón Reyes hit a great ball. After 53 played minutes, Madison's Mete Gol shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper William Sjöman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Madison reached it. Vilhelm Bengtsson made in the 61st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Madison's Brahim Boutabout. Mete Gol might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over William Sjöman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mete Gol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 63rd minute Mete Gol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Sjöman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Madison booed when ViHörs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kjell-Arne Lind didn't get a good kick on the ball. ViHörs's William Sjöman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mete Gol in the 66th minute of play. Mete Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without William Sjöman having to interfere. If Mete Gol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Madison were the better team. Madison's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
