A sloppy throw-in by Cristo Neto in the 2nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Madison's Ege Træet. Zeledon Lesardo's late challenge caught a Madison's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Lesardo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, san isidro's Zeledon Lesardo got a free kick in the 5th minute. Madison's Juan Fernando Quintero quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Zeledon Lesardo, made in the 9th minute of the game. Mete Gol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Mieszko Bierfass tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mieszko Bierfass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Madison's Vítor Esparteiro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mieszko Bierfass in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 24th minute, Mete Gol made a precise shot to the right of Mieszko Bierfass. san isidro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A throw-in in the 27th minute of the game was made by Zeledon Lesardo with Cristo Neto as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mete Gol in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mieszko Bierfass prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Madison's Omar Osasun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mieszko Bierfass in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mieszko Bierfass made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Mete Gol sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute, Omar Osasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was beautiful to see san isidro's Cleto Camerino in action when he in the 35th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After a rather tough play, Madison's Henri Ladva got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind san isidro's goalkeeper Mieszko Bierfass, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oscar Orlanda kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, san isidro's Ariel Goyo got a free kick in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ariel Goyo made the kick off in the second half. Mete Gol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mieszko Bierfass having to interfere. The supporters of san isidro booed when Madison was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Omar Osasun didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 60th minute of the match, Ariel Goyo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Severiano Rafe saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Zeledon Lesardo made in the 63rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Cristo Neto immediately put the ball in play. Mieszko Bierfass took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mete Gol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the game, Mete Gol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Mieszko Bierfass was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mieszko Bierfass made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mete Gol in the 70th minute of play. A collision led to san isidro getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Zeledon Lesardo hit a great ball. Mieszko Bierfass came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Madison's Mete Gol. But to his dismay, Mete Gol quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 90th minute, Mete Gol made a precise shot to the right of Mieszko Bierfass. san isidro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Madison fans cheered their team off the field, for while san isidro had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
