Eustacio Antonucci scored 1-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eustacio Antonucci got free with Julio Vera in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Zachariasz Dudkowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 17th minute of play. If Eustacio Antonucci had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Eustacio Antonucci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. In the 29th minute, CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 32nd minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachariasz Dudkowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Montenegro in the 35th minute of play forced CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, CRUZ DEL SUR's Artaç Yavuzalp got a free kick in the 36th minute. If Pan Lin Zhen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

51 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Agustín Saelices. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eustacio Antonucci's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. 56 minutes into the match, CRUZ DEL SUR's Eustacio Antonucci sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. CRUZ DEL SUR's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Abundio Manzano in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Eustacio Antonucci stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Eustacio Antonucci tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 67th minute, Eustacio Antonucci ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Julio Vera was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Pippin Aguilera fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pippin Aguilera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind CRUZ DEL SUR's goalkeeper Zachariasz Dudkowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When CRUZ DEL SUR's Pippin Aguilera in the 83rd minute got a chance for a shot 83rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CRUZ DEL SUR's Zachariasz Dudkowski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save CRUZ DEL SUR from getting a goal against them. CRUZ DEL SUR were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ecuador for a fine match.
