Alijilán returns's Victor Erauso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Montenegro in the 17th minute of play. Victor Erauso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santino Seco, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 23 minutes into the match, Colombia's goal looked a bit too open when Aytuğ Aral came free, but Pedro Manzanares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cyprian Sroki was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Alijilán returns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. Victor Erauso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 53rd minute of the match. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Co Bayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 57th minute of the match Alijilán returns got a corner. Colombia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cipriano Tavio ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Co Bayo, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Axel Montenegro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Victor Erauso made a huge save. When the referee ended the match the Alijilán returns players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
