Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Róbson Messias kicked off to start the match. Samuca Carneiro charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Carneiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 3rd minute, Samuca Carneiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Rockets's Róbson Messias in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paraguay's goalie prevented a goal. A sloppy throw-in by Ronaldo Gol in the 25th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Paraguay's Iker Tafalla. After 27 minutes, Toninho Terra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rockets and the Paraguay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Rockets got a freekick which was hit by Toninho Terra. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Benjamin Mazza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Jaime Pardo made a precise shot to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, Rockets's Samuca Carneiro got a free kick in the 39th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jaime Pardo made a kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Jaime Pardo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benjamin Mazza. Rockets's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jaime Pardo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 66th minute, Róbson Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jacobo Nores was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The supporters of Paraguay booed when Rockets was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toninho Terra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jacobo Nores didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gilvan Chaves went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-4 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hector Covarrubias during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute, Hector Covarrubias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 82 minutes into the match, Róbson Messias had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Nores. Paraguay's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Messias was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-4. A throw-in in the 89th minute of the game was made by Ronaldo Gol with Samuca Carneiro as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Iker Tafalla fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paraguay's protests and gave Iker Tafalla a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Tales de Carvalho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but Tales de Carvalho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Nores breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
