Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Shi Li started the match with the kick off. Felix Garrido made in the 8th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Galati Harbour Cats's Dan Petrescu. Octavian Soare showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. In the 12th minute, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 19thth minute of the game Shi Li who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Covataru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shi Li in the 24th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antoni Dembkowski got free with Thiago Pliego in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Chile's zone, Shi Li stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal and Shi Li tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th minute, Mariano Lacasa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Shi Li had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 37 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dan Petrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. Sven-Åke Ré made in the 43rd minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Shi Li however managed to control. Ianis Man sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mariano Lacasa made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mariano Lacasa. Iordache Negrițoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Negrițoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Galati Harbour Cats's Iordache Negrițoiu got a free kick in the 57th minute. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li. But to his dismay, Shi Li quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 64 minutes into the match, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 68 minutes into the game, Galati Harbour Cats's Shi Li nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Thiago Pliego made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After having played for 72 minutes, Shi Li managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galati Harbour Cats's supporters crossed their fingers, but Shi Li was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Galati Harbour Cats's Octavian Soare proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Galati Harbour Cats from getting a goal against them. In the 81st match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. In the 82nd minute Ianis Man shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Chile defense, Shi Li kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thiago Pliego. The Chile fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thiago Pliego should have stopped the shot. In the 89th minute, Mariano Lacasa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Octavian Soare was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Chile players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Galati Harbour Cats.
