Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Agostinho Almeida started the match with the kick off. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mauro Eliazar. Mauro Eliazar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Eliazar was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Ritvaldis Rau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauro Eliazar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Zorita ran back to his position shaking his head. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 24th minute of the match. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Alexsandro Simão cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute of play. Rubinho Loureiro hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mauro Eliazar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 42nd minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Daniel Zorita made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita scored 1-4 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mauro Eliazar, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauro Eliazar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Agustín Saelices in the 55th minute. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Eliazar having to interfere. A collision led to Juventudes Libertárias getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Rubinho Loureiro hit a great ball. In the 60th match minute, Juventudes Libertárias was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilson Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 63 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Mauro Eliazar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ritvaldis Rau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Juventudes Libertárias's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 77th minute Ritvaldis Rau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 81st minute. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mauro Eliazar quite easily take care of the ball. Mauro Eliazar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 88th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Juventudes Libertárias's Rubinho Loureiro got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Mauro Eliazar in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Agostinho Almeida struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Juventudes Libertárias. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 95th minute. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
