In the 5th minute, Club Deportivo Polonia's Maurino Esperta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Polonia's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Sarmiento came free, but Angelino Barba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute, Aquilino Velazquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 12th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Polonia's goalkeeper Angelino Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kevin Mastache in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Deportivo Polonia's goalkeeper Angelino Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Club Deportivo Polonia's Angelino Barba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Mastache in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Luke Correa got a free kick in the 26th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Belarmino Viejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Belarmino Viejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 31st minute of play forced Club Deportivo Polonia's goalkeeper Angelino Barba to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Polonia's zone, Abram Sarmiento stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Angelino Barba came out of the goal and Abram Sarmiento tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Luke Correa in the 34th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Polonia's Álvaro Carmona got a free kick in the 35th minute. Santino Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Barba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santino Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurino Esperta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Pedro Manzanares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belarmino Viejo was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Axel Montenegro got free with Angelino Barba in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Deportivo Polonia's Angelino Barba proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Club Deportivo Polonia from getting a goal against them. In the 58th minute, Joshua Garrido made a precise shot to the right of Angelino Barba. Club Deportivo Polonia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 65 minutes into the game, Maurino Esperta cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Pedro Manzanares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Colombia made a substitution. Abram Secada replaced Axel Montenegro. After some careless play in the Colombia defense, Belarmino Viejo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. The Colombia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Manzanares should have stopped the shot. Angelino Barba was a little too slow when Kevin Mastache got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 75th minute. The score was now 3-3. After a defensive mix-up in Colombia's zone, Belarmino Viejo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal and Belarmino Viejo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Deportivo Polonia made a substitution. Loramendi Zabalo replaced Belarmino Viejo. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Loramendi Zabalo in the 83rd minute of the match. Angelino Barba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Mastache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pedro Manzanares came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Polonia's Loramendi Zabalo. But to his dismay, Loramendi Zabalo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. 91 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Polonia's goalkeeper Angelino Barba had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Mastache. When the match had gone on for 92 minutes, Kevin Mastache took a quick shot and it went in 4-4 without a chance for Angelino Barba to make any attempt to save it. When the match clock showed 96 minutes, the score became 5-4 when Loramendi Zabalo sped through Colombia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Manzanares. Club Deportivo Polonia's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
