That made the score 0-4 in the 69 minute of play. A collision led to MKS Maczka getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Eugeniusz Kolbert hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Folke Samuelsson scored 1-4 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Folke Samuelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Daniel Zorita's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emil Cvitanović firmly grabbed it by the left post. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 87th minute after MKS Maczka's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. The corner led to Ecuador's Luis Andino getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 89th minute, Folke Samuelsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Folke Samuelsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the match, Daniel Zorita dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Emil Cvitanović, 1-5. Ecuador's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
