Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emerson Cruz took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marco Seco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Bruno Alves with Marco Seco as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Sebastian Villa might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leon Kosmatka. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Sebastian Villa ran back to his position shaking his head. After 18 minutes of play, INTER FC's Marco Seco made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lautaro Navarro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Marco Seco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Lautaro Navarro made a huge save. Emerson Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marco Seco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lautaro Navarro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Leon Kosmatka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmundo Espiga in the 36th minute of the match. After having played for 38 minutes, Sebastian Villa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Honduras's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sebastian Villa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Espiga made a kick off. Moises Tafalla's late challenge caught a INTER FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moises Tafalla helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moises Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. 53 minutes into the game, Marco Seco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Lautaro Navarro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to INTER FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Marcelo Valverde hit a great ball. In the 62nd minute, Marco Seco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The INTER FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. INTER FC's Mandi Oca was substituted for Emerson Cruz. Lautaro Navarro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Linhares, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hortêncio Linhares in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lautaro Navarro saved Honduras from getting behind. In the 76thth minute of the game Hortêncio Linhares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Honduras's Lautaro Navarro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emanuel Ocampo hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes INTER FC got a freekick which was hit by Thiago de Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hortêncio Linhares in the 92nd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Christian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The INTER FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Honduras had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
