An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 16th minute of play forced IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s goalkeeper Vânderson Saa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Peru booed when IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Nóbrega didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jose Murillo. With a little luck, Peru's Rolando Noboa got control of the ball when Toros No tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 30 played minutes IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ got a freekick which was hit by Claudinho Rocha. Vânderson Saa came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Milagros Fraga. But to his dismay, Milagros Fraga quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 53rd minute, Moises Gayoso fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 54 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Jose Murillo came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Zaquiel Cubo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Peru's Rolando Noboa did a great save. Milagros Fraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Vânderson Saa firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 60th minute of the match Peru got a corner. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Peru's Moises Gayoso getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Correia came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Julian Murillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Vânderson Saa got control of the ball when Luz Tejedor tried to sneak it across the goal line. 90 minutes in the game, Eliseo Mina fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Vânderson Saa having to interfere. IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ made a substitution. Wambasther Ronaldinho replaced Jose Murillo. Peru's Antonio Tenorio was substituted for Luz Tejedor. Peru made a substitution. Rafael Gallo replaced Julian Murillo. The IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡ supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
