The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julian Murillo was the one to do the kick off. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Ting Xing in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Meruendano came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Union Y Progreso F.C. getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Venceslas Pumares hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Union Y Progreso F.C..
