Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leon Garcia started the match with the kick off. Bacho Team were awarded a corner in the 8th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hernan Ferrando took the corner. Hernan Ferrando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 22 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Patricio Costa. Anibal Galeno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 27th minute. A collision led to Bacho Team getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Enrique Crispo hit a great ball. The supporters of Bacho Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Gaos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernesto Padro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomas Illescas in the 35th minute of play. Leon Garcia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Ferrant having to make a save. Emanuele Marrone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. If Emanuele Marrone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ivo de Sousa got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ivo de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomas Illescas to strike the kick off in the second half. Ernesto Padro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After 52 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. In the 53rd minute of the match Hernan Ferrando shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonathan Ferrant showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leon Garcia in the 59th minute of play. Ivo de Sousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ivo de Sousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leon Garcia, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Bacho Team's Isidro Montrel was substituted for Leon Garcia. Patricio Costa struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Ernesto Padro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Isidro Montrel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. 84 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo de Sousa came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ivo de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bacho Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The supporters of Bacho Team booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bacho Team's Ivo de Sousa got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
