Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evelio Firme started the match with the kick off. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Morales in the 4th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Tellier got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Vermudo. Patricio Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Placido Lucero having to make a save. Placido Henrico charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Placido Henrico the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when Tellier was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Placido Henrico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Tellier's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Placido Lucero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Venezuela were awarded a corner. Tomas Illescas went to the cornerflag to take it. Evelio Firme who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 22ndth minute tested the skills of Jonathan Ferrant when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Álvaro Morales in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 27 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Vedillo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Elpidio Vedillo notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Álvaro Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Placido Lucero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Evelio Firme could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Firme in the 46th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match clock showed 55 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Evelio Firme sped through Venezuela's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tinko Nonev charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tinko Nonev the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Hats in the 79th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Álvaro Morales in the 83rd minute of play. Tomas Illescas struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Placido Lucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Venezuela. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Marco Hats got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Patricio Costa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Tellier players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, Marco Hats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco Hats in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tellier fans cheered their team off the field, for while Venezuela had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
