City Friseur Wuppertal's Xu Yi Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 11th minute of play. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Peru reached it. In the 43rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. City Friseur Wuppertal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 44 minutes of play, Peru's Julian Murillo made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xu Yi Lei was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half Peru were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Murillo made a kick off. Xu Yi Lei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute. City Friseur Wuppertal's Cem Yılğıralp was substituted for Mehmet Oğuz Bayramoğlu. The throw-in from Işık Ayman in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Nebi Tokyürek struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Rolando Noboa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for City Friseur Wuppertal. A collision led to City Friseur Wuppertal getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Işık Ayman hit a great ball. Edwin Vestlund made in the 69th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Waldemar Ryback. Peru's Rolando Noboa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Ryback in the 71st minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xu Yi Lei. City Friseur Wuppertal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. Julian Murillo scored 1-5 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xu Yi Lei, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nebi Tokyürek, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Peru made a substitution.
