The audience thought a goal was coming when Ubaldo Goyanes got free with Thiago Pliego in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thiago Pliego stood somewhat misplaced when Ubaldo Goyanes came free in front of goal and shot 1-1 to the left of him in the 35 minute. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubaldo Goyanes in the 40th minute. Ubaldo Goyanes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Thiago Pliego came out and tried to block the shot, but Ubaldo Goyanes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 41st minute. Freddy Sein showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Goyanes in the 47th minute of the match. A well-hit corner resulted in Claus Wüllbier heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 53rd minute, Mariano Lacasa made a precise shot to the right of Freddy Sein. Sporting Angola's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Freddy Sein made a huge save. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Goyanes, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Sporting Angola's Tomas Gartzen was substituted for Ubaldo Goyanes. Thiago Pliego came out of the goal in the 85th minute to try and stop a shot by Sporting Angola's Tomas Gartzen. But to his dismay, Tomas Gartzen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Gartzen in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Thiago Pliego prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a little luck, Sporting Angola's Freddy Sein got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 97 minutes, Felix Garrido mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chile and the Sporting Angola players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, Chile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Garrido to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Sporting Angola had won after a very even match.
