After a rather tough play, Honduras's Sebastian Villa got a free kick in the 3rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in ÇALIMLI's zone, Edmundo Espiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Birkan Yağın came out of the goal and Edmundo Espiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Barnabé Amice came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the ÇALIMLI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barnabé Amice couldn't finish the play. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Zülfü Dicle hit a great ball. In the 18th match minute, Honduras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentín Carvallo to maneuver through the defense. If Luiz Fabiano Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The ÇALIMLI fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when ÇALIMLI's Barnabé Amice looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 28 minutes into the game, Honduras's Edmundo Espiga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Birkan Yağın made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 30 minutes, Edmundo Espiga made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. ÇALIMLI's Birkan Yağın tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Valentín Carvallo got a free kick in the 35th minute. A collision led to ÇALIMLI getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Enginalp İnanoğlu hit a great ball. Edmundo Espiga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Birkan Yağın having to make a save. In the 46th minute, Doğan Zakir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The ÇALIMLI players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Espiga was the one to do the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Luiz Fabiano Jacinto in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Valentín Carvallo. Barnabé Amice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. When Edmundo Espiga came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Honduras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Espiga couldn't finish the play. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferid Özer, made in the 57th minute of the game. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Milagros Cabal hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the game, Ferid Özer threw the ball into play from the sideline. Honduras's Valentín Carvallo quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A sloppy throw-in by Christian Sancho in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ÇALIMLI's Enginalp İnanoğlu. J.P. 张飞 hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Moises Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of ÇALIMLI booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christian Sancho didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 74th minute, Milagros Cabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Barnabé Amice managed to get in a good position for a shot. ÇALIMLI's supporters rose to their feet, but Barnabé Amice was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lautaro Navarro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Honduras's attentive Christian Sancho managed to snatch the ball when Ferid Özer made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. After 80 played minutes ÇALIMLI got a freekick which was hit by Enginalp İnanoğlu. Barnabé Amice fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lautaro Navarro having to interfere. If Edmundo Espiga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edmundo Espiga got free with Birkan Yağın in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
