The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Montenegro in the 3rd minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, C. A. Pipon Pipon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cesario Irazu to maneuver through the defense. If Zhuo Chao Chuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zhuo Chao Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhuo Chao Chuan in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jannes Ruttens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 22 played minutes CE LAJEADENSE RS got a freekick which was hit by Caetano Saad. After a rather tough play, CE LAJEADENSE RS's Jorge Pires got a free kick in the 27th minute. Christian Orlan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicky Bryson in the 28th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Justus Lintorf in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Orlan saved CE LAJEADENSE RS from getting behind. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Justus Lintorf looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nicky Bryson made the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Beto Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Orlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, CE LAJEADENSE RS's goal looked a bit too open when Nicky Bryson came free, but Christian Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justus Lintorf in the 58th minute of play forced CE LAJEADENSE RS's goalkeeper Christian Orlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Bater Palma replaced Udo Nigula. Christian Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jose José in the 67th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Justus Lintorf made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! CE LAJEADENSE RS made a substitution. Deilmison Desailly replaced Jorge Pires. Christian Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Bryson in the 77th minute of the match. Beto Montenegro scored 4-0 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Christian Orlan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh was substituted for Nicky Bryson. C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa was substituted for Jose José. CE LAJEADENSE RS's Bater Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 94 minutes of play, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Malcolm McIntosh made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Christian Orlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that C. A. Pipon Pipon were the better team. C. A. Pipon Pipon's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
