Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norbert Suetens in the 29th minute of play. Takis Kanavidis hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Kerkyra FC's Loukas Kois played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Norbert Suetens in the 32nd minute of play. Loukas Kois made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Van den Bergh in the 34th minute of play. When Thierry Nagels fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Vliegplein's protests and gave Thierry Nagels a yellow card for diving instead. After 35 played minutes KFC Vliegplein got a freekick which was hit by Thierry Nagels. Theocharis Pouliadis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Mark Jansens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Loukas Kois took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustav Van den Bergh, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Valentinos Kanellakis took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Mark Jansens to make any attempt to save it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

After 50 minutes, Theocharis Pouliadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kerkyra FC and the KFC Vliegplein players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 50th minute, Theocharis Pouliadis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wesly Leenpoels in the 56th minute of play forced Kerkyra FC's goalkeeper Loukas Kois to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Kerkyra FC booed when KFC Vliegplein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Norbert Suetens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Vliegplein's zone, Giorgos Maragozis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mark Jansens came out of the goal and Giorgos Maragozis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KFC Vliegplein's Mark Jansens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giorgos Maragozis in the 84th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Loukas Kois successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After 91 minutes of play, KFC Vliegplein's Gustav Van den Bergh made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Loukas Kois was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. KFC Vliegplein had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
