VfL Wolfsburg's Evert Wennerquist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to save VfL Wolfsburg from getting a goal against them. Evert Wennerquist was a little too slow when Patrice Sénéchal got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 2-0. Lucas Gudmundsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Björn Ugla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Noël Péret having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Isac Dalberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Christophe Dugas took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Evert Wennerquist to make any attempt to save it. Christophe Dugas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Evert Wennerquist came out and tried to block the shot, but Christophe Dugas slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 39th minute. If Matthias Termander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Patrice Sénéchal made the kick off in the second half. Evert Wennerquist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christophe Dugas in the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Evert Wennerquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 62 played minutes Saint Côme de Fresné got a freekick which was hit by Christophe Dugas. With a little luck, Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Péret got control of the ball when Jens-Ove Gustafsson tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emil Sörman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Björn Ugla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Noël Péret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Péret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Gudmundsson in the 91st minute of play. Olivier Barnier hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, Saint Côme de Fresné could leave the field as winners, despite VfL Wolfsburg having more of the ball for most of the match.
