Oranil's Téo Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Oranil from getting a goal against them. When Gildo Azevedo fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave Gildo Azevedo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Oranil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gildo Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. Attila Kádár took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Koehler. Téo Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After having played for 11 minutes, Attila Kádár managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Attila Kádár was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Attila Kádár during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Attila Kádár hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute Gonçalo Soeiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulf Skoog saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Attila Kádár stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Téo Koehler came out of the goal and Attila Kádár tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Attila Kádár sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Oranil's Téo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Attila Kádár in the 19th minute of play. Téo Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attila Kádár in the 23rd minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Ortiz hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Gildo Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulf Skoog having to interfere. If Attila Kádár had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Attila Kádár's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. The supporters of Stardust Unicorns XI booed when Oranil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacinto de Salles didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Frits Andriessen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Stardust Unicorns XI:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Oranil:s goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.
After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Attila Kádár managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stardust Unicorns XI's supporters rose to their feet, but Attila Kádár was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Téo Koehler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Wen Zhi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Attila Kádár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Téo Koehler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alphan Özdoğan in the 60th minute of the match. After 62 minutes Oranil's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frits Andriessen who took care of the corner kick. After 63 minutes, Rocky Thunderbolt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Stardust Unicorns XI and the Oranil players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Oranil booed when Stardust Unicorns XI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. 김 남 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paulão Sampaio charged in rather forcefully in the 68th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. But to his dismay, Attila Kádár quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. In the 74th minute Attila Kádár shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Téo Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Téo Koehler was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 92 minutes into the game, Stardust Unicorns XI's Attila Kádár nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Téo Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 95th minute, Attila Kádár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
