Robert Christoffersson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Téo Koehler made a huge save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carlinhos Félix in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Téo Koehler prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fabiano Ortiz during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Stig Eskilsson placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Carlinhos Félix put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Téo Koehler. 18 minutes into the game, Carlinhos Félix cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Téo Koehler was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 22nd minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Oranil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Carlinhos Félix scored to the left of an out of position Téo Koehler, making the score, 3-0. The Here Comes the Hammer fans' excitement grew in the 28th match minute when Here Comes the Hammer's Carlinhos Félix looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A sloppy throw-in by Ramón Amorim in the 31st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Here Comes the Hammer's Lennart Zander. Carlinhos Félix took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Téo Koehler. Téo Koehler dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 35 minutes into the game, Ramón Amorim threw the ball into play from the sideline. Here Comes the Hammer's Lennart Zander quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Ramón Amorim fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oranil's protests and gave Ramón Amorim a yellow card for diving instead. After 39 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Gildo Azevedo. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Percival Simão. With a little luck, Oranil's Téo Koehler got control of the ball when Robert Christoffersson tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Christoffersson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oranil's Téo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 51st minute of play. Carlinhos Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Téo Koehler having to make a save. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Márcio de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Carlinhos Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 61 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Carlinhos Félix came free, but Téo Koehler reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 65th minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Carlinhos Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Téo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlinhos Félix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robert Christoffersson in the 72nd minute of play forced Oranil's goalkeeper Téo Koehler to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 75 minutes, Carlinhos Félix made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Oranil's Téo Koehler tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Oranil's Téo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlinhos Félix in the 80th minute of play. Téo Koehler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Robert Christoffersson went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. In the 89thth minute of the game Carlinhos Félix who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Oranil's Téo Koehler was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlinhos Félix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Robert Christoffersson scored 8-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Téo Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
