Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th match minute, Saint Côme de Fresné was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Simon Mertz to maneuver through the defense. Noël Péret took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmílson Catarinense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Juan Velloso came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Saint Côme de Fresné's Patrice Sénéchal. But to his dismay, Patrice Sénéchal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Patrice Sénéchal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Juan Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joaquim Gibert had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Saint Côme de Fresné getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Simon Mertz hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Joaquim Gibert got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Oranil's Juan Velloso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquim Gibert in the 47th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrice Sénéchal to make the kick off. A sloppy throw-in by Sérgio Freire in the 52nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saint Côme de Fresné's Édouard Guet. 57 minutes into the match, Saint Côme de Fresné's goal looked a bit too open when Edmílson Catarinense came free, but Noël Péret reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Saint Côme de Fresné's Joaquim Gibert got a free kick in the 58th minute. The supporters of Oranil booed when Saint Côme de Fresné was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Simon Mertz didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Patrice Sénéchal came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kléber Saldanha scored 3-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noël Péret, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Oranil players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
