Kenneth van der Leegte came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Oranil's Kléber Saldanha. But to his dismay, Kléber Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Kenneth van der Leegte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kiko Teixeira went, in the 9th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Stef Mol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Velloso having to interfere. Wouter Kluivert could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Juan Velloso made a huge save. Juan Velloso didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 22nd minute, which inside left pole to 1-2. Wouter Kluivert hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Kiko Teixeira scored 2-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 36 played minutes Oranil got a freekick which was hit by Hílton Cosme. Gerjan Staarman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the SV Wissenkerke defense, Edmílson Catarinense kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kenneth van der Leegte. The SV Wissenkerke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kenneth van der Leegte should have stopped the shot.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gerjan Staarman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kléber Saldanha could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Kenneth van der Leegte made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hílton Cosme during the 53rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 59th minute, Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. 63 minutes into the match, SV Wissenkerke's goalkeeper Kenneth van der Leegte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kiko Teixeira. In the 67th minute, Oranil's Edmílson Catarinense ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kenneth van der Leegte. Kenneth van der Leegte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-7. Juan Velloso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Zevenhuizen, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Juan Velloso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerjan Staarman's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. After 79 played minutes SV Wissenkerke got a freekick which was hit by Gerjan Staarman. In the 84th minute, Kléber Saldanha reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kenneth van der Leegte. The goal made the score 2-8. Oranil's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
