In the 22nd minute, Cesare Cinalli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noël Péret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Arturo De Vito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Noël Péret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Noël Péret showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cesare Cinalli in the 31st minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Alessandro Iacovella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Noël Péret was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. If Arturo De Vito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 46 minutes, Olivier Barnier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saint Côme de Fresné and the Carloforte f.c. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Beppe Savoia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrice Sénéchal in the 65th minute of play. Karl Touzard kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 67th minute of the match Armin Scotti sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Noël Péret skillfully saved the ball. Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Péret played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesare Cinalli in the 69th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Patrice Sénéchal in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beppe Savoia saved Carloforte f.c. from getting behind. Karl Touzard kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. With a little luck, Saint Côme de Fresné's Noël Péret got control of the ball when Cesare Cinalli tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alessandro Iacovella got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 91st minute, Alessandro Iacovella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Carloforte f.c.'s fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
