Giorgos Maragozis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Fanis Nioras managed to get in a good position for a shot. When Theofilos Tripitsidis came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Kerkyra FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Theofilos Tripitsidis couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Oranil's zone, Eutichios Dridakis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Velloso came out of the goal and Eutichios Dridakis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 63 minutes into the game, Kerkyra FC's Kostas Kazakopoulos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Juan Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 69 minutes into the match, Oranil's goal looked a bit too open when Giorgos Maragozis came free, but Juan Velloso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valentinos Kanellakis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kostas Kazakopoulos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
