The corner led KFC Vliegplein's Wesly Leenpoels to fire away a dangerous shot which Sérgio de Azevedo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The audience cheered when Wesly Leenpoels's long shot passed Sérgio de Azevedo's right side. It was 2-2, 48 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eddy Laporte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute André Luiz Vides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mark Jansens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, André Luiz Vides managed to get in a good position for a shot. BMB IMOVEIS SC's supporters rose to their feet, but André Luiz Vides was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Jansens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 99th minute, André Luiz Vides got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
